On Wednesday, a $48 winner in the 5th at Hollywood Park caused another giant ($74,849) Pick Six carryover for Thursday, following a $22.60 winner in the 3rd and a $25.40 winner in the 4th. Wow! Lots of great prices! Thursday's card is no cinch either, but appears one we may hit on a small ticket.........that's the plan.
Post positions were drawn today for the Preakness on this coming Saturday with the fillie getting the far outside 13th hole. I think it just evens the race up more, as a case can be made for eight (maybe nine) of the 13 entries. What a race this will be and lots of handicapping and wager selection scenarios will be contemplated for this one! I think 2 or 3 of the entries will take most of the wagering money creating some huge prices for legitimate contenders. We'll be busy the next couple of days sorting out the way to go.
