Terrific racing last weekend (one favorite winner out of 20 races) at Hollywood Park with ZERO winning fav's on Sunday, produces a large Pick Six carryover for Thursday!
The $125,000 plus carryover should get the Pick Six Pool around $1,000,000 for Thursday's action.
We're taking a small stab ($30 Baseline P6 Ticket) with four singles, a big spread in the 4th, and three horses in the 7th.
Best Bets will have trifecta plays in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. We'll also try to nail a big PPA using our long shots in the 4th and 8th......it's a $48 Play.
Since they've cut to 4 racing days at Hollywood Park, the Thursday and Friday cards have been good, and the weekend cards excellent. Very tough to hit, but when you get it right, a very good payday. Our handicapping was solid last weekend , but the wager selections were not. I like our trifecta plays on Thursday and look to again start the week on the plus side of the ledger.
