Night racing again on Friday at Hollywood Park. First Post 7:05 pm PDT.
Free Friday Long Shot:
On first pass, Hollywood Park's third race, with nine entries, looks like a two horse affair between the two big fav's, #3 All Set (2:1) and #9 Threat(5:2) with #2 Backstroke not too far behind at 4:1. A closer look allows us to add two long shots (the 5 & 6) into the mix . At 20:1, we like #6 Lanie's Way for our Free Friday Long Shot. I'll use her in all my exotic plays touching the third and at these long odds, also play her across the board.
Thursday Recap:
We hit two trifecta's on Thursday's Hollywood card, but a big one got away in the seventh, when our jockey ran off to an insurmountable lead (at a good price, I might add) then came off our horse before crossing the finish line. Mother said there would be days like this. We're due some better luck this weekend.
Great racing at Hollywood Park over the next 4 days......Friday through Memorial Day Monday. We'll start the weekend early on Friday night with a very high potential BalWal Pick Three races 2-3-4.........it's a $20 play. Best Betters will also see trifectas in the 2nd, 3rd and 8th and another $27 P3 play for races 4-5-6. Throw in our $36 Baseline Pick Six play and our $32 Place Pick All and enjoy a lot of action on Friday night
