Excellent racing at Hollywood Park on Monday (Memorial Day). This 10-race card is the best of the entire Meet and features the Grade I Shoemaker Mile where the fastest horses of the day go for a $250,000 purse, on the turf. A good race to watch, but a lot of other races which are much better wagering opportunities. I'll watch this one, but plan to take down a goodly amount of greenbacks, elsewhere on this card.
$109,818 carried over in Sunday's pick six, so we'll expect the Pick Six pool on the holiday card to be approximately $1,500,000! A good day to hit it!

- Our Free Friday Long Shot got scratched......shucks!
- $24 Trifecta play on Sunday returned $345 in the 6th, but it sure would have been a whole lot more had our long shot, #2 Kickin Caper off at 15:1,who lead all the way, could have hung on for a couple more seconds. He was passed very late by our other two selections, we'll take the consolation prize.
- Sunday's $1 PPA paid a cool $10,000. If you haven't played this bet yet, you are missing out.
