Good looking card at Santa Anita

Advisory

We Like Race 7 on Wednesday:

Our second, third, and final dive into Wednesday's Santa Anita card found us getting much more interested than our initial first pass.

I'll predict a big P6 payoff or carryover AND a very sweet PPA payoff on Wednesday.  Here's why:

The first four races look best suited for horizontal betting i.e the P4 or a couple P3's the best way to play the first half of the card.  There is very little separation to be found in all four of these races, which is great for P3's and no playable price horses (8:1 or more) to achieve a good trifecta payoff.  Also the PPA is likely to be decided in the first four races, with almost every horse in each race a potential winner.  We'll definitely be "Alling" two of these legs.

The good betting races for exactas, tri's, and super's are found in each of the final four races.  In addition these races are great for P3's and the P4 as each carries horses with excellent long shot win potential, so we'll have a tri play in each and a P3 or two.

We like race 7 on Wednesday the best and likely will need to box the 6 & 9 with our three long shots (8:1,15:1, and 20:1).  There's a very good chance any or all three of the long shots can make the final photo, thus the box play.

Looks like a good card to start the new week.  Good Luck on Wednesday at Santa Anita and anytime you're At The Track.
