Superfecta Wagering Tip

Advisory

Oh soooooo close!  Our 9:1 long shot #7 Weevescent won the final race at Santa Anita (paying $20.40) to give our $36 Baseline P6 Players 5 of 6 and $449 for their Pick Six play.  Our only loser in the sequence came in the first leg, so we heard from lots of customers who used our P6 selections for the final P4.  Their $18 play picked up an additional 1,234 American dollars.  Those who were smart enough to use #9 Nine to Dine (went off 4:1) in the 3rd picked up a cool $55,000!  Not us, as the 3rd was our only loser on both the PPA and Pick Six and in fact that race was a clean whiff for the good guys at At The Track.

Saturday's Santa Anita card looks very good from a wagering perspective.  I'd recommend some rolling Pick Three and Trifecta/Superfecta Plays using our long shots on Saturday.

Today's Wagering Tip:

One of my favorite small bet superfecta plays comes when I have a non-favorite (doesn't have to be a long shot, just not the first or 2nd ML pick) who I will single on Top of 3 others I like in each position.  The beauty is it's only a $6 play.  Example:

In the 5th race at Santa Anita on Friday, I really liked #9 with a morning line of 6:1.  My other selections in the race were #2 at 9:2, #8 at 6:1 and #1 the ML fav at 7:2. The Play:

9 over 1-2-8 over 1-2-8 over 1-2-8 ($6)

It won paying $255.90 for the $6 play, about like hitting a 42:1 shot.

No, we didn't use this play in our selections, deciding to use the #9 as our best Win/Place bet of the day. At least the Win/Place betters are grateful.  I used the same play in race three using another I liked, #3 Spoolish, but it ended up as part of our "whiff race".

Good thing is, I feel good about both plays........always happy to cash with the one I hit.........and happy I took a small $6 shot on the loser rather than making a big money loser play!

Good Luck on Saturday and throughout the weekend!  It appears we can get even more money At The Track where First Post is 12:30 PST.
