A good card to start the new week at Santa Anita. The last four races make up the best wagering opportunities on Wednesday, although we're using the first 4 races for our $1 P4 BalWaL play of the day. It's a $24 wager which includes 2 long shots, one in the 2nd and another in the 3rd. If either get to the wire first, we'll see a very nice pay off.
For Pick 6 players, I think a real good time to play:
#1 -- your competition (other players and pools) will be very light on Wednesday. You still have to get them right, but if you do, you'll share with fewer players.
#2 -- I look for a number of middle priced horses (7:2 to 6:1) to get home which generally means a good ($25,000 or more) pay out if you get them all.
#3 -- There are two pretty solid singles (and one of them is 7:2 on the morning line)
We also have trifecta plays in each of the last four races.
