Outside of the Triple Crown races and Breeders Cup, the day of the Santa Anita Handicap is perhaps the next biggest race day of the year.
First Post at Santa Anita on Saturday will be early, 12:00 Noon PST to accommodate all eleven scheduled races. What a great race card! Three Grade One races topped off by perhaps the best Santa Anita Handicap we've seen in years. No less than 14 entries and the morning line favorite is 9:2! This is a horse players dream race for pay out potential. We'll definitely have selections, but we recommend making this race an "All Leg" in one of your Pick Threes, as almost everyone of the 14 entries "could"
win.
Saturday is definitely a day to increase your planned bank roll for the day. I'll be playing about double the amount of a normal race day........there's just too many opportunities for a large score and it only takes one!
