Belmont Stakes 2008
We called the Big Brown loss!
At The Track founder/handicapper Ron Robinson sure took a lot of flak when he said that Big Brown would finish no better than fourth in his Belmont Stakes 2008 recommendations. But it's amazing how things can change in a 2 minute horse race. Go to our Belmont Package to see exactly what we told our customers. Read below to see what we were saying before the big race.
Can Big Brown win the Belmont?
The Belmont has been a heart breaker for a large part of this decade. Four Triple Crowns (2001-2004) averted in a row, when the winner of the first 2 legs didn't get home in New York. After dominating the fields in both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, it is hard not to believe we have a genuine Triple Crown contender this year. At this early stage, we don't know who Big Brown will be trying to beat, but we do know that we'll be looking to find the longshot that will take Big Brown down. If he can be beat, the winner will certainly pay big. In any case, we'll be looking for the big exotic scores as we always do. Our Belmont Stakes package will include all of our products on the big day at Belmont Park: Best Bets of the Day, full card Top Picks & Longshots for Belmont Park , Pick 6 Play, BalWal Play of the Day.
